| Therapy & Private Sessions EMBODYMENTTM is a form of yoga therapy that offers the client a deep and profound healing experience. Embodyment facilitates a release in the muscles deep in the core of the body, around the spine. This allows the client to begin a transformational process that is very beneficial physically, mentally & spiritually. SVAROOPA YOGA THERAPY includes a series of poses that are designed for your own specific needs. These poses offer deep spinal release that is equivalent to several yoga classes. The Yoga Therapist uses precise alignments, supportive props, hands on adjustments, and Embodyment throughout the session. The experience can be deeply relaxing, blissful and transformational. PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES are available for those who would like more indiviualized instruction. These are great for students with special needs-i.e:injuries, illness, physical limitations, etc. and for students who would like to develop or deepen their home yoga practice. > Click here MEDITATION is the quieting of the mind. Class & Style Descriptions SVAROOPA® YOGA is a unique style of hatha yoga. Each class is specifically designed to release deep tensions in the muscles along the spine, which we refer to as core opening. This has a profound healing effect on the body and mind. Svaroopa yoga is also known as bliss yoga, which names the inner experience that occurs as the spine decompresses and the mind quiets. Yoga props, specific alignments and adjustments are used to ensure the student receives safe and deep changes in the body and mind. The benefits of a Svaroopa yoga practice include increased flexibility, mobility, strength, more energy, improved circulation, overall better health-physically, mentally and emotionally. These classes are appropriate for all levels, and beginners are welcome. This class is 90 minutes. SVAROOPA DEEPER is for students who have a home Svaroopa yoga practice and have been practicing Svaroopa yoga for at least six months. We will be doing more advanced levels of practice, along with more variations on poses and deeper hands on adjustments. This class is 1 hour and 45 minutes. HATHA YOGA is a fun exploration of hatha yoga postures designed for youths and adults. We offer ways to enjoy stretching, balancing, building strength and relaxing as we learn to connect our bodies, minds and spirits through movement and breath.
