We specialize in teaching Svaroopa ® Yoga, a unique style of Hatha yoga designed to release deep tensions in the muscles along the spine. Svaroopa, a Sanskrit word, means "the bliss of your own being", and the benefits of this profound form of yoga include increased strength, flexibility, mobility, improved circulation, energy and an overall sense of well being. Five Day Yoga Intensive!

This program offers a profound experience, which will deepen your own practice as well as prepare you to share yoga with others. You will be trained in 16 foundational asanas (poses) of Svaroopa® yoga. These primary asanas are explored in detail, including working with partners to learn how to do alignments and adjustments. The course includes guided relaxations, chanting and meditation, and asana classes as well as an introduction to anatomy and to key yogic texts. You will receive a complete set of handouts for each of the asanas taught. You will leave this program able to teach these asanas to beginning students.
